Realistic and abstract expressionist painter Rose Ann Cristobal aka Mitsuko Ching was born and RAISED in the Philippines. She has developed an interest in art since she was very young. In 2012 she moved to San Mateo, California and in 2013 decided to go back to school to study art more in depth after 7 years of break. She currently works at Lyfestyle Ink in San Mateo as a full time tattoo artist. Last January, 2016 she had her last art show completely selling out on opening night.

Her thinking process and work ethics Are strongly influenced by her peers, teachers, and colleagues. She’s always been attracted to realistic & pop art painting, and her personal work currently focuses on portraiture and painting from live models, still life & photos. Her works are characterized by a mix between seriousness and playfulness. Mitsuko’s goal is to acquire as many technical skills as she can while simultaneously exploring her creative capacity.
